Protect yourself from fraud
Fraudsters sometimes target customers applying for or using high-cost credit by pretending to be lenders, debt advisers, or support services.
We will never:
- ask for your password
- ask you to make urgent payments to “secure” or “protect” your account
- pressure you to act immediately or keep a request secret
If you are unsure about any request, stop and contact us using our official contact details; customerservice@oxendales.ie, phone: 01 8300 800
Email / SMS Scam Warning
Beware of scam messages about credit or repayments
Scammers may send emails or texts claiming:
- your credit account will be closed
- you must make an urgent payment
- you are entitled to a refund or reduced balance
Do not click links or share personal or financial information.
If a message claims to be from us and you are unsure, contact us directly; financialservices@oxendales.ie, phone: 01 8300 800
Pressure & Coercion Warning
Take your time - don't be rushed
Fraudsters often try to pressure customers by:
- creating urgency (“act now”)
- threatening consequences
- telling you not to speak to anyone else
A genuine lender will always give you time to consider information and ask questions.
If you feel pressured or uncomfortable, stop and contact us; financialservices@oxendales.ie, phone: 01 8300 800
What to Do If You Suspect Fraud or Financial Abuse
